Blair Matthews - Family Support Manager

Blair is responsible for overseeing the Trusts Early Help Offer, as well as supporting a number of other schools that have requested that provision. Blair has worked as the Family Support Manager at David Nieper Academy since the role was created in 2019. Blair is passionate about providing support to our families and understands the impact this can have on a young person's outcomes

He is trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, and has completed training in Supervision Skills in Child Protection through the NSPCC. He now uses those skills across the Trust. 

Blair was educated at Tibshelf Community School, and attended Nottingham Trent University. He has lived in the local area all of his life. Away from work Blair enjoys watching football, playing cricket and spending time with his family.
