Angela Sweeney, Headteacher, Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School

Angela has worked in education since qualifying as a teacher in 1997, working across several authorities, having held teaching and leadership posts in seven different schools as well as supporting schools in Sheffield in school improvement initiatives as an SLE (specialist leader in education.). Today’s educational landscape offers much challenge, but also so much potential and Angela is excited to be a part of this new adventure with Stonebroom Primary and Nursery School, and with the Christopher Nieper Education Trust.  

Angela is a dedicated mother of two daughters, with a passion for staying active through regular exercise, enjoying family walks and playing netball a couple of times a week as part of the ‘Redwings’ netball team. Angela has a particular fondness for cheese and cheesecake, which is not always the healthiest of meals, but it generally makes for the tastiest!
